This is a secret, idyllic, unspoilt world which the locals are thrilled to show you. I can't imagine a more delightful little house to act as base camp for skiing, fishing, swimming, canoeing or walking. Can't wait to come back!

The chalet is in a fantatstic spot - you wake up to a spectacular view of the mountains and a pretty walk through the forest takes you down to a picture-postcard lake. There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you entertained, or you can simply relax in the fresh air and wonderful surroundings. "

"We had a great 10 days in the snow skiing, snowboarding and generally messing about in the snow. Our two children (4 and 7 yrs) were taught to ski for the first time by the most fantastic instructor, Andrej, from Alp-Bohinj in Bistrica. A fantastic holiday in a stunning location, ideal for small children - we will be back!"

"After a difficult journey (through our own doing) we arrived much later at night than planned. This was no problem for the Slovenian contact Pia who smoothly rearranged everything via Mobile phone. As soon as we awoke the next day surrounded by the silent majestic panorama, we felt all the stress of the journey falling away. We went on to have a fantastic family holiday, enjoying the quiet local ski slopes. The chalet is an excellent base, modern, clean comfortable and relaxed, with extraordinary views. We even had deer wading calmly through the snowy garden. It was definitely worth flying the extra few miles to find such a peaceful and unspoilt place. If you need a refreshing break... just do it."
